1What this covers
This policy explains what Sybago LLC does with personal data through this website, the Peps by Dave community, and the tool we use to publish video to our own social media accounts.
We are not a healthcare provider and we do not want your health data. Please do not send us medical records, test results or anything about your health. If you do, we will delete it.
2What we collect
| What | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Name, email, profile details | Your Skool account when you join the community |
| Membership status, and payment status where a charge applies | Skool, and Stripe where payments are involved. We never see your card details. |
| What you post in the community | You, when you post it |
| Emails you send us | You |
| Basic technical data — IP address, browser, pages viewed | Automatically, when you visit this site |
| Aggregate advertising and post statistics | The social platforms. Counts and totals, not identifiable people. |
3Why we use it
- To give you access to the community and its material.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To keep the community safe and enforce our terms.
- To understand, in aggregate, which content is worth making more of.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, our lawful bases are performance of a contract (giving you access to the community you joined), legitimate interests (running and improving the community, security), consent where we ask for it, and legal obligation.
4Our social media publishing tool
We publish short-form video to our own accounts on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. We use an internal tool to do it, so that one finished video can be posted to several of our own accounts without repeating the work by hand. This section explains exactly what that tool touches.
The tool handles our own accounts and our own content — not yours. It does not collect, store or process personal data about anyone who views, follows, likes or comments on our posts, and it is not offered to community members as a service.
What it stores
- Access and refresh tokens for our own social accounts. These are issued by each platform when the account holder authorises the tool through that platform's own login flow. They are stored encrypted and are used only to publish and to read the account's own posting settings.
- The video and captions we are publishing, held only as long as needed to hand them to the platforms.
What it reads from the platforms
Immediately before we publish, the tool asks the platform for the connected account's own settings: the account name, which audiences that account is allowed to post to, the maximum video length, and whether comments, Duet or Stitch are switched off on that account. This is used to show the correct options to the person publishing. It is not stored, and it is not used for analytics.
Where content goes
- To the social platforms — the video, its caption, the audience chosen and the commercial-content declaration, sent through each platform's official publishing API.
- To Anthropic — to help draft a caption for each platform, still frames taken from the video and any notes we type are sent to the Claude API. A person reviews and edits every caption before it is published. We do not send member data.
Control
Nothing is published without a person choosing the audience and pressing publish — there is no unattended or scheduled posting. Authorisation for any connected account can be withdrawn at any time from that platform's own settings, which immediately stops the tool being able to post to it.
5Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the services that make this work:
| Service | What for |
|---|---|
| Skool | Hosting the community and your membership |
| Stripe | Processing payments, where a charge applies. They handle card details; we do not. |
| Vercel | Hosting this website and our internal tools |
| TikTok, Meta (Instagram & Facebook), YouTube | Publishing our own content, and aggregate statistics about it |
| Anthropic | Drafting captions from video frames, as described above |
| Email provider | Sending and receiving mail |
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. Some of these providers are in the United States; where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on the transfer safeguards those providers put in place.
6Cookies
This site uses only what it needs to function. If we add analytics or advertising cookies we will ask first, and this section will say so rather than being quietly out of date.
7How long we keep it
- Account and community data: while you are a member, and for a reasonable period after.
- Any payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Social account tokens: until authorisation is withdrawn or they expire.
- Emails: as long as needed to deal with what they were about.
8How we protect it
Access to our internal tools is password protected. Credentials for our own social accounts are encrypted at rest and are never exposed to a browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will tell you promptly if something happens that affects you.
9Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Email us and we will action it — we will not make you justify the request.
Much of your community data sits in your Skool account, which you can manage or delete directly with Skool.
If you are in the UK you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EEA, to your local supervisory authority. We would rather you came to us first.
10Children
This community is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
11Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the current version, and if a change materially affects you we will say so rather than leaving you to spot it.
